Bill Durland, one of the founding member of Middle East Peace Project, has published a book about the history, militarism, and peacemaking on the human rights struggle for Palestinian independence.  Wonderful read with insight into the problem from someone who has been working on this issue for a lifetime.

Boycott Soda Stream!

On a cold, windy day in Colorado Springs, the dedicated human rights activists braved the weather to hand out flyers, call for a boycott of SodaStream, and educate consumers.  SodaStream is made in an illegal Israeli settlement in occupied Palestine.  They also employ Palestinian workers, but do not treat them equally as Israeli employees.  In addition, SodaStream calls itself a socially responsible company, when in fact, everyday they are breaking international law, and abusing human rights.  Just say no to all SodaStream products!
